Lawson Stover joined Genesis Consulting in early 2019. As Manager of Business Operations, Lawson plays a pivotal role in optimizing internal processes, managing cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. He is dedicated to fostering a positive and structured experience for everyone who works with Genesis, ensuring that employees, partners, and vendors alike receive the support and resources they need to succeed. His efforts enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and overall workforce engagement, helping to align business operations with company goals.
Lawson also oversees IT and vendor management, maintains compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards, and supports company security and regulatory initiatives to uphold operational integrity. He leads Genesis’ social media strategy, website content, and email marketing, ensuring a consistent and impactful digital presence. Additionally, he works across departments to streamline workflows, refine business processes, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings. His contributions have improved onboarding and offboarding processes, IT asset management, and company-wide operational workflows, ensuring scalable and sustainable improvements.
Before joining Genesis, Lawson spent over 15 years in the food service industry, working at some of central Virginia's most recognized restaurants and managing corporate dining and catering for a Fortune 200 company. His diverse background brings a unique perspective to his role, balancing operational problem-solving with a people-first approach.
Based in Richmond, Virginia, Lawson enjoys exploring the local restaurant scene and traveling internationally to experience new cultures and cuisines. He and his wife, Kristen, share a passion for rescue work, fostering dogs in need and helping them find loving homes through Helpaws, an animal rescue organization in Saint Lucia. They also enjoy spending time with their three rescue dogs, Kona, Maisy, and Aurora.
