Mere Antonelli

Senior Recruiter

Mere Antonelli is a talent acquisition professional with 10+ years of experience specializing in technology and digital transformation recruitment. Since joining Genesis Consulting in 2019 as a Senior Recruiter, she has played a pivotal role in identifying top talent for Digital Transformation, Agile Project Management, SAP Implementation, and other technology-driven initiatives across both public and private sector clients. As a senior member of the recruitment team, Mere is dedicated to helping companies build high-performing teams while fostering strong relationships with candidates, consultants, and hiring managers. She leverages innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent while staying ahead of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.


Prior to joining Genesis, Mere was a Senior IT Recruiter at in Richmond, VA where she focused exclusively on the local market, recruiting for a wide range of technology roles and partnering with Richmond-based clients to provide technical talent solutions on a project, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire basis. She was actively involved in the Richmond technology community, regularly attending and sponsoring local tech conferences, meetups, and user groups. Her engagement extended to IT organizations such as PMI Central Virginia Chapter, Agile Richmond, Women in Technology, and the Richmond Technology Council (RVATech).
 

Mere earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia College & State University, where she was also a member of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Team. She later obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Human Resources Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and was an active member of the VCU SHRM local chapter.
 

Now based in Midlothian, Virginia, Mere enjoys staying active, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is also deeply involved in her children's school, sports leagues, and Cub Scouts group, where she volunteers regularly.
