Samantha Crimmins Smith joined Genesis in December 2024 as Head of People and Operations, where she focuses on driving growth and continuous improvement to enhance value and performance for customers.

A dynamic executive with extensive expertise in navigating the complexities of technology consulting, Samantha has built her career around transformative journeys in startup and scale-up environments. Her pivotal experiences include managing mergers and acquisitions from multiple perspectives and guiding global organizations through strategic transitions. Known for her operational optimization, talent management, and cross-functional leadership skills, she leverages a combination of data-driven decision-making and people-focused leadership to create high-performance cultures that propel business growth and organizational excellence in technology consulting and professional services sectors.

 

Samantha earned her degree from the University of Virginia School of Architecture and returned to Charlottesville during the pandemic. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her husband and their black lab, Eliza, as well as strength training, reading cookbooks (though she hates cooking), and following Formula 1. She cherishes time spent with her three children, who live in New York, Richmond, and Charlottesville.
